The traditional newborn langot and the disposable diaper
The langot has been around in India for a long time. Most new parents must have seen their grandparents or people of their age using the langot for a sibling or another baby. The unfortunate part of the traditional langot was that it was leaky and useful just for a small period of time until the baby soiled it. It had to be changed as soon as it was dirty and the number of times this had to be done was simply exhausting. The alternative that we got was the disposable diaper. We accepted the use and throw alternative readily since it gave us the freedom to throw and replace. We also accepted the chemically enhanced material that caused rashes, not to mention the environmentally unfriendly product.
Best langot for babies
Thankfully, we now have an alternative. The Snugkins New Age langot for babies has a longer life, it is skin friendly and of course it is washable like the traditional one. The cloth nappies for newborn do not use any of the chemicals used in the disposable diapers so you are sure that you are giving your child a 100% safe material for your baby that allows the skin to breathe.
Why use snugkins newborn langots?
You can buy cotton nappies for newborn and be sure that you are getting an economically better product while contributing to environmental protection. Most disposable diapers are not biodegradable and may take up to 500 years to even disintegrate. That is why they are used in landfills. At the same time you will probably buy around 20 to 30 reusable nappies for newborn and that will sustain you till your little angel starts wearing potty training pants. Imagine how economical that is compared to disposable diapers although they seem to be cheap.
Newborn Langots in style
The langot is now available in many styles, colours and prints. Gone are the days when langots were dull monochromatic pieces of cloth that were usually made out of leftover clothes. Today’s langots come in different styles. They are a mixture of organic cotton, elastic to keep the langot snugly fit and a layer of wet-free fleece that ensures dryness for your baby. You do not feel the need to hide your baby’s bottom when guests come to meet you.
Newborn Langot sizes
New age nappy for newborn baby can last up to 1 year. On an average it soaks up to 1 pee. However, since it is covered in fleece with new dry sense technology the baby might not even notice the wetness. The New age langot comes in 3 sizes. Choose the size that best fits your darling child for a snug, leak proof experience.
How to store and wash newborn langots
Please store dirty langots in a bucket. Rinse the poo into the toilet before storage else it will raise some stink. This way you could store the langots for around 48 hours. In other words you can wash these langots once every 3 days.
When washing the langot, rinse it with a little detergent. Washing the langot by hand is easy. Soak langot for around 20 to 30 minutes. After that, rub the langot thoroughly with your hands to clean the langot. Do not use a brush. Rinse the langot nicely and put it out on the clothesline to dry.
If you want to use a washing machine, make sure the langot has been cleaned of any solid waste. Put the langot in the washing machine. Add a little detergent and run for a 20 minute cycle. For the second cycle you could even add it to your regular laundry. Please do not use antiseptic liquids like Dettol, fabric softeners or even liquid detergents. Dry as normal cloth. Remember not to keep in the sun for too long either.

What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Why do we use it?
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
